What Causes Continuous Vomiting And Severe Jolts In The Body?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...My Partner (a male) has episodes of throwing up for approx 17hrs at a time, it starts off like he's having electric shocks throught his entire body and his back muscles right next to his spine cramp up and won't relax, then he gets stomach pains and starts to throw up. This has been going on for 25 yrs. When he hets these almost like electric jolts he almost passes out and he's not really coherent, he has passed out on a couple of occassions and one time he swallowed his tongue, which I pulled back out. He's been for every test, camera's down his throat and up his back passage, they say they can't find anything, however he's never had a brain scan. He's 48 yrs odk and this happens approx every 2 months. He also says that just prior to these shock type things happening his brain can't stop thinking about everything almost flashing thoughts flicking from one thing to another rapidly like a computer flicking through information, like an overload. He suffers so much when he's throwing up he often reaches so much after 17hrs he starts throwing up blood.

As he's getting older I worry he won't physically be able to handle these episodes. Please help
