Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello sir madam I am quite curious to know that what is the problem with my son. He is four and a half year. He is frequently vomiting from yesterday. I don t know what is causing this. He just don t want to have his lunch and dinner. As soon as he put the food in his mouth he vomits all over. I am very worried .
Frequent vomiting for 1 day suggestive of acute gastritis could be due to viral or bacterial. Usually, after 1 day vomiting stops and diarrhea begins. It will self resolve. If child is continuously vomiting with poor oral intake and decreased urine output take him to nearby hospital immediately.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prasanna Lakshmi, Pediatrician
