Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. You are on three anti epileptics that is eslify (eslicarbazepine), lamitor (lamotrigine) and solzam (clobazam). Your semen analysis is showing low sperm count. Your doctor is advising you to take medication after breakfast.

Your should not worry about seizures. You can start taking medication after breakfast. But do not miss the dose. Shift the routine of drug intake one by one, not all at once. You will experience sedation in morning after taking solzam. So be careful, avoid driving/going alone/walking on roads.

And also these medications do not cause low sperm count. There is no effect on sperm count or motility.

Kindly ask your doctor to repeat an EEG of you to find the seizure focus. If you have not experienced any seizure in last 3 years and your EEG is normal, your seizure medication can be discontinued under supervision.

Hope it will help you. If still having doubts, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
