What Causes Cough, Nasal Congestion, Chest Wheezing, Lip Cyanosis And Loose Motions?

My 4 month old son has a severe cough, nasal congestion, sounds like some wheezing in his chest, and his lips looked a little blue. He has only had one wet diaper and has had loose BM s. I checked his temperature and it said 95.4 F. Is this something that I should be worried about. He was born 7 weeks early so I suppose his adjusted age is really 3 months. Can you please help this first time mom?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Symptoms that your child's health are suggestive of lower respiratory tract infection. Blue lips suggest that child is having respiratory distress. Child should be examined by doctor as soon as possible.
