What Causes Coughing And Vomiting Post Tonsillectomy?

Hi. I am 26 and had a tonsillectomy 4 days ago. Everything seems to have gone as expected. Vomited one yesterday which I think was from the dinner I ate night before. However today I started coughing. Feels like have fluid in my lungs and just coughed up dark yellow mucous. Is this normal or should I be seeing my doctor? Thanks
