What Causes Cramping And Nausea After Having Intercourse?

Hi. My name is maria torez. Im 20 years old and i weight about 133 pounds.

My left ovary is very hard and it hurts. The right one hurts some.. but it is not as enlarged and hard as the left one. ive been cramping and felt some nausea a couple of days ago. I have PCOS but ive been taking birth control to help with that. About 2 weeks ago i had sexual intercourse and I would like to know if this could have anything to do with a pregnancy coming along.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
- IN PCOD the ovaries are enlarged due to collected ovums, which fail to be released by ovulation normally. As a result, the hormonal imbalance & addition of another ovum in ovarian tissue causes stretch & pain in ovaries. You seem to have the same.
- You are also taking oral contraceptives ,so there wont be chance of pregnancy, even by accident.
- So the pain you have can not be due to pregnancy.
Thanks
