What Causes Cramps And Constipation After C-section?

I just had a c-section 2.5 weeks ago. I have been having severe cramps the last 2 days. Felt like menstrual cramps until last night, then it felt more like gas related cramps. I have been extremely constipated since the surgery. I just noticed quite a bit of bright red blood in my stool, and I did not have hemorrhoids during pregnancy. What should I do?
