What Causes Cramps In Hands Along With Stiffness In Fingers?

I have been getting cramps in my hand. My first and second finger feel stiff and they get tingly at times. Today I woke up and my little finger is bruised. Never injured it in any way. Just cramped up yesterday for a while and I had trouble forming a fist and putting my hand down for yoga class . Very strange!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Stiffness in the hands and other associated symptoms what you are describing appears to be due to calcium deficiency.
Kindly get your blood tested for serum ionic calcium levels.
Take calcium supplementation in the form of syrup or tablets. Drink good quantity of milk and get exposed to sunlight regularly.
Gradually, your symptoms should subside and be back to normal.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
