What Causes Curling Of Hands In A Child With Autism?

Hi, my 12 year old son who has Autism had his first seizure a week ago - looked like a 2 min partial complex/tonic clonic but not sure, he was curling his hand and jerking. He was sick at the time and screaming a lot. He hasn t had a seizure since but still yells a lot and sometimes curls his hands and looks like he s having absence seizures.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the seizure then it need to be differentiated with epilepsy, and for that it is advisable to get done EEG, if this is negative then it may not be pure form of seizure but it could be due to functional elements, hope this information helps.
