Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Two years ago, I had a sebaceous cyst on the outside of my wrist. A Dr lanced the cyst with a needle and I was to apply pressure to disperse the fluid. I applied strong pressure periodicallyto my wrist. The fluid dispersed but I experienced numbness in parts of my wrist and ring finger.Eventually, the numbness disappeared but my wrist is still sore. I had an MRI which showed nothing, but the Orthopedic Dr. said it could be arthritis . This is all related to the cyst. What could be causing the pain - centered where the cyst originated?
