What Causes Cyst Formation In Tendon On The Neck?

I just had a massage and the therapist felt what she said was a cyst on the tendon on the left side of my neck halfway from my head to my shoulder. I cannot feel it but my wife did. She says it is very small. The therapist says she feels them often. Should I see a doctor and if so what type of specialty ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having enlarged neck lymph nodes or sebaceous cyst.
Your primary physician will give proper guidance about your problem or consult surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
