What Causes Dark And Sticky Stools With Bleeding Anus In Infants?

my 1& 5mon son,passes a hard,sticky,dark stool.its like a goat like stool, only this is quite big.and he is really having a hard time,that makes his anus bleed.he drink lots of water and i let him eat papaya.but still the problem persists.i pity him.its been 1 week now.
we are here in saudi arabia. why is this so?,please help!thank you1

Hello,

The possible reason underlying is loaded colon through constipation from altered gut flora or digestive enzyme issues. Primary care with sitz bath, application of xylocaine jelly over the anus, a laxative to soften the stool.
