General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to a collection of blood underneath the skin. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. No definite treatment is required. You can apply icepacks for faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
