What Causes Dark Red Rash At Sides And Behind Anal Area?

What could this be? I have a dark red rash at the sides and behind my anus about 5-6 inches in total diameter. It is hot and painful. This surrounds a few hemorrhoids and I just noticed the rash today. It started as an itch about a month ago. There seems to be a long 11/2 - 2 inch thin cyst underneath the skin on the right side. I always thought my discomfort was from the hemorrhoids. Sometimes the hemorrhoids flare up. Today they aren't. Today is the worst it's been. Some days it doesn't bother me, other times it's very uncomfortable. Now just hot and painful.
FYI I did a parasite cleanse about 6 months ago which ended in Oct. I'm a 56 year old female.
I haven't had sex in years, so I don't think that it's an std. Thank you.

Well come to HCM
This could be due to infection of hemorrhoid because of infection area might have inflamed, if this is infection then this need to be treated with antibiotic and the best option would be "Tab Cefdinir 300 mg" twice in day for seven day, second hemorrhoid need to cured with surgery, hope this information helps, take care. (Some time this may be associated with allergic condition )
