What Causes Dark Spots On Both Sides Of Inner Thighs Near Vagina?

Hi, I'm a teenage girl and 2 days ago I noticed dark spots with peeling coming up on both sides of my inner thighs near my vaginal area and today there are some reddish looking spots or rashes aswell. What should I do about it?
Would neosporin ointment work?

Hi

Dark spots or dark discoloration of thighs can occur due to excess friction, dryness, allergies or even due to hormonal imbalance.Any recent history of new drugs or cosmetic products should be ruled out since skin allergy can also be a cause.

Wash the area clean and apply moisturiser regularly twice a day.Excess friction and dryness will be avoided by moisturiser.

It is also essential to maintain normal body mass index and rule out any hypothyroidism. In case of bacterial infections, neosporin ointment can be used twice a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
