What Causes Dark Urine With White Particles Floating In It?
hi, over the last 3-4 days I have had slightly darker urine colour and 1-2 white froth-like patches floating on top. I have had a few sharp pains in my ears in the last few days too...not sure if it is an infection and if the two symptoms are connected but just a bit concerned. Thankyou
Hello, slightly darker urine as in more reddish or more yellowish? Because both has different differential diagnosis. If its more of yellowish it could be just concentrated urine for which you need to increase your fluid intake and see whether it helps. If it doesn't it could be jaundiced urine. I would suggest you first to increase your water and fluids intake and see whether it helps. If it doesn't, its better you get an urine routine examination done plus urinary bile salts and acids test to be done. Kindly consult your doctor with the reports or you can revert back with me with the reports if at all you get it done if no effect after increasing fluid intake. thank you
