What Causes Dark Yellow/brown Urine And Rib Pain?

Hello umm well my dad told me to research why he has these weird symptoms i have but it all seems different so i need a accurate answer. Well he told me he piss dark yellow mostly brownish also he said that under he s right rib it slightly hurts. Can you please tell me what he COULD have?

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. In the elderly, pain near right rib along with brownish urine, requires ultrasound evaluation for renal tumors.
2. Get a urine examination done, if hematuria is positive and there is no pus cells, then ultrasound will be necessary. If pus cells positive, urine culture and sensitivity necessary to identify appropriate antibiotics for treatment.
3. If pain in rib continues, ultrasound abdomen is necessary.
4. Also dehydration appears to be cause of dark yellow urine, which has progressed to urinary tract infection. He needs to take at least 6-7 litres of water per day along with cranberry juice. Meet your doctor for tests and further evaluation.
