What Causes Delay In Menstruation After Discontinuing Diane-35?

Hi, I am taking drugs Diane 35 for acne for last 4 months. Since then I had very regular period (on the clock 28days cycle all my life till now). Last month after the course of 21 days was over, according to the doctor s advice I took 7 days break but after the break was over I didn t start the pills immediately. I took another 7 days break and started my pill. This month I was suppose to get my period not he 5th or 6th. But I am 6 days late. What could be the reason? P.S: I am not sexually active. Thanks

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Your period is late because you have delayed the intake of Diane-35 for 7 days. It is caused due to hormonal changes in the body. So there is nothing to worry about it. You'll have your period in next 2-3 days. Start taking next pack of Diane-35 on the first day of your next menstrual cycle. It will establish normal menstrual cycle.
