What Causes Delay In Period After Taking Ipill?

I and my gf had unprotected sex on 22nd march. She had an i pill within 48hours. Her regular period date is on 5th april. But she has not yet got her periods. My question is 1. Can she get pregnant even after taking the i pill? 2. Due to the pill can she get her periods late?? If late then when she might get her periods? Pls help us.. Waiting for your reply

Hi,

Slight irregularities including delayed periods can happen after taking emergency pills including Ipill. It will generally settle by itself and no treatment is required.

You can go for a urine pregnancy test just for reassurance. If symptoms are severe you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
