What Causes Delay In Period?

I am of 32 years. my last period was on 6th july. I have sex on 12th july and 13th july. At 13th july night, I have taken unwanted-72. till today, there is no period. period is almost 15 days late. i have done urine pregnancy test two times. but it was negative. is there is a chance of pregnancy still? then what is the problem and why period are not coming?

Hi,

Chances for pregnancy is very low. You can go for a beta-hCG test to check whether you are pregnant or not. It can happen after taking emergency contraceptive pills and it will settle by itself. If periods are delayed long, you can consult a gynecologist and start on drugs like Primalute o induce withdrawal bleed.
