What Causes Delay In Periods After Taking Postinor-2?

hi doctor started my period on the 9th of march and ended on 13th had sex on the 20th and took postnor2 almost immediately and also took warm salty water some hours later. Now its 33days since my menstrual cycle yet to see my period although i withnessed all the symptoms i do have before my periods. i started having pains like am in period two days ago yet nothing. Am really scared could i be pregnant?

I understand your concern.
Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive. It has high dose of hormone, which postpones ovulation & avoids conception. THe drug tends to delay period by 8-10 days because of hormonal interference in regular menstrual cycle.
