What Causes Delay In Periods After Unprotected Sex?

Dear mam/sir Me and my girlfriend had unproructed sex on 18th mrng 4 o clk and on the same day she took ipill at night 10 clk.after we had sex . Till date she is not getting period. Last month she took ipill and she got period within 3 to 4 days.. now what is our situation

Hello,

Taking I-pill within first 24 hrs of sex gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy.

However, I-pill can delay regular period for 1 to 2 weeks due to hormonal imbalance and mental stress. I suggest to undergo one home pregnancy test if she misses her period more than 1 week.
