What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Meprate?

Hi doctor... my cycle every month 24-25 and this time I was missed I have checked my pregnancy test at hospital then result got positive means I m pregnant post that after 3 I have started bleeding only 2 day then again visited at hospital checked with doctor ,she said need to check beta HCG report that was came 25.5 doctor said ur not pregnant pls take meprate pills for period to next 5 days ..I took me completed 5 days but my periods not come yet ...Pls suggest what should I do for that condition..

Hello,

If you took meprate the period will come within 7 days of stopping the treatment. If it doesn't come a BHCG should be repeated and also an ultrasound because you may be pregnant.
