Hello,

PCOD is a common cause for irregular cycles. I hope you have checked your thyroid function and serum prolactin as secondary causes if not it would be worth to check your serum TSH levels and fasting prolactin. If you are over weight loosing a few pounds will help in regularizing the cycles. Simple lifestyle changes like good eating habits, less stress and regular sleep pattern also helps in tackling the hormonal imbalance. Regarding modus you can wait till 10 days after stopping the medicine to get your cycle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
