What Causes Delay In Periods?

Hi, I am trying to conceive for last 2 years . My periods have always been regular but this month my periods are late by 5 days. I did a home pregnancy test but it came negative. I already checked for Thyroid and PCOD but i don t have these problems. What should i do ?

Hello,

False negative pregnancy test results can happen if you are testing too early. So please wait for few more days and do a home pregnancy test with the first-morning urine sample.
If the test is still negative, then follow up with your ObGyn to get blood HCG testing done.
