What Causes Delayed Periods And Tingling In Hands/feet?

Hello Doctor, My last menstrual cycle was on 17th April 2014, post which we planned for baby. and i waited for 45 days and did urine test (twice after every consecutive week), its negative. Later my gynae advised Bhcg, it came negative too. LAter she adviced meprate 10mg for 5 days(1-0-1) for periods to occur, but today is 7th day after finishing the meprate tablets course, i am yet to get my period and my hand and feet are experiencing tingling and stiffness sensation. Kindly advise the problem i am experiencing and the failure for pregnancy.

Hello,

You need to evaluate in detail as you are not able to conceive as well as the period has been delayed.

Usually, Hormonal pill is able to induce a period. But in your case, it failed.

So rule out a thyroid problem, Hormonal imbalance, ovarian cause by following investigations.

-serum prolactin estimation
-serum FSH, LH and DHEA estimation
-USG pelvis
-serum TSH estimation

You can revert back with reports.
