Hello,

After Mirena coil insertion, the body may take time to adjust with the hormonal changes. It may cause irregular bleeding, spotting, anxiety, heavy bleeding, depression due to hormonal IUD. Once the body gets adjusted to the hormonal changes the symptoms disappear in a week or two. In case the symptoms persist and cause discomfort, you should get a follow up clinical examination by a gynecologist. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
