What Causes Depression And Lethargy While On Namzaric?
My Mother started Namzaric. She has titrated up to the full dosage. She is depressed, and very lethargic. this sleeping all day is new, and has been building since she started the meds on July 25. She has muscle cramps. Her NP says stay on it and it will resolve . What do you think?

Lethargy and tiredness are common side effects associated with Memantine (content of Namzaric). However, the condition of your mother required both the medications so it is better not to stop them.
If there is no benefit after 6 months of treatment then you can discontinue Memantine and continue Donepezil only (second content of Namzaric). However, you need to take the advice of NP for that.
