What Causes Depression While On Lamictal And Mysoline For Epilepsy?
I have epilepsy and am already on eplim, lamictal and mysoline I had a seizure July 2015 after being seizure free for around 15 years and now all of a sudden I become emotional and cry for no reason and my dr did k10 test and showed that it was boderline depression so recommended I see psychologist which I have had three sessions now my dr wants me to start esitalo 10mg i want to know if this is safe to take and will it effect the other medication I m taking, I am also a diabetic and have hypertension Thanks for your feedback
* As per my clinical experience, the borderline depression requires the prescription of low dose anti-depressant as esitalopram and the same can be consumed with regular medications of epilepsy as Lamictal and Mysoline.
Still, it would be better to discuss the same with your treating psychiatrist before proceeding for the same.
