What Causes Diarrhea After Taking Glimipride?
hi iam 30yrs old woman, recently diagnised as a type-II diabetic and taking glimipride-1mg and gluconorm-sr 5oomg. the touble is iam having diarrhoea like symptoms soon after i took the tablets after the break fast. Is it normal with that medication? thanks in advance

It is suggestive of gluconorm-sr induced side effect. The most common side effects of gluconorm-sr are nausea, diarrhea, change of taste, abdominal cramps, and loss of appetite. These side effects can be minimized by taking gluconorm-sr with a meal and to be careful with dietary changes and supplements.
