What Causes Diarrhea After Taking Laxido?

I have been feeling sick every day since new years eve and I have lost a lot weight. I went to the doctors in April and she put me on domperidone to take for one week and then take it as and when I need it throughout the month. I went back a month later and she told me to take the domperidone every day as I was still feeling sick and losing weight. When I went back last week she told me that I could no longer be prescribed it as it has been banned in the UK. Instead I was given an antacid and laxido as I was suffering from constipation. I took the laxido for 6 days and then I had diarrhea so I stopped taking the laxido drink and I have been suffering from diarrhea since Sunday. Please can you give me any advice?

Madam or sir you have not mentioned the problem you actually had when you met your doctor.Was it for vomiting and burning sensation upper abdomen and chest.Im guessing it based on treatment dr offered.Doctor has not given probiotic n antibiotics probably you didn't have diarrhoea at that time.Second time you have gone possibly for gastritis and constipation and she has given you antacid and stool softener.Now you have landed up in diarrhoea possibly because of antacid and stool softener.But what is disturbing in your statement is not well feel and loss of weight.stop antacid and stool softener.Include probiotic in your diet,take frequent small bland meal.If problem not settling meet your doctor again.
