What Causes Diarrhea Along With Vomiting And Fever?
A friend in a foreign country (Panama) has been experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, pain, and fever. The pain is identified as the left side of the stomach and at the top of the center of the stomach. She has been hospitalized for 4 days and the doctor s recommendation is to focus on getting better. She is on IV fluids for hydration. The doctors say that the blood cell counts are fine. They supppossedly have ruled out a parasitic infection. They gave her one day of IV antibiotic treatment (?) and are telling her that it is a viral infection, but it has been present for more than 4 days and isn t getting better. Could this be gall stones or kidney stones? Could it be a bacterial infection that isn t showing in the blood work? She is in a lot of pain that isn t being addressed.

As per the symptoms it is a case of infection.Though physian has examined him and arrived at a diagonosis of viral infection which subsides in one or two weeks completely instead of 3 t 4 days.
Sothere is nothing to worry. However if the symptoms continue then he definitely needs to be examined further for any problems around gall bladder,kidney or stomach.
I suggest you wait for one week if symptoms after that continue then he needs further examination otherwise there is nothing to worry.
