What Causes Diarrhea And Abscess In Stitch After Having Spinal Surgery?

I am a 56yr old diabetic, female. About a month & 1/2 ago, i had spinal surgery (a cyst attached to 2 nerve roots). I developed an abcess in a stitch & was prescribed Clindamycin 300 mg. I soon developed diarrhea every time I get up. Its such an embarrassent. I am also 5 6 and 100 lbs. I cant seem to gain weight.

You need to see a doctor for an exam and a stool culture

Most likely considering the clindamycin, you've developed a C. Difficile bacterial enteritis and you'll need antibiotics to clear that
