What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting When Diagnosed With Diverticulosis?
I have been diagnosed with a couple of diviticular. I m having problems with diareherra and vomiting and my colon is constantly making rolling, gurgling sounds. Sounds like water sloshing around in the colonl I ve been doing this for two nights, have diah. stopped but sounds still persist. What should I do?

Hi,
It can be viral enterocolitis infection of the intestine. Your diarrhea has been stopped, so no need for giving antibiotic. If you feel nauseated or vomiting than ondansetron mouth dissolving tablet can be prescribed. Maintain hydration with lots of water.
For 3-5 days avoid intake of heavy fatty foods. You can include curd in diet and sporolac like probiotic can be prescribed.
