Hello,
Diarrhea itself can aggravate hemorrhoids due to frequent wiping, straining or irritation. Increased pressure in the rectal veins can cause
blood in stool. If your hemorrhoids were already inflamed, two days of loose stools could definitely make symptoms worse, causing pain, swelling or bleeding.
Pepto-Bismol should not be taken if there is blood in stool as it can worsen the symptom.
Since you are having diarrhea, take anti-diarrheals and avoid taking spicy oily fried food. Take bland food like oats or rice. Keep yourself well hydrated. If the bleeding is heavy, continues, or comes with pain,
fever, or severe cramping, it could be a sign of something more serious. At such a time, get clinically examined by a GP / Surgeon, get all required tests and investigations done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
