What Causes Diarrhea Post Hysterectomy?

i had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago along with build up scar tissue that was untangled in my bowels had a set back after coming home and was re admitted to the hospital I have constant explosive diareah how long may this last is this due to all the iv fluids

Hello,

You should do a stool sample first to make sure that it is not a gastrointestinal infection. It isn't much related to hysterectomy you had recently. Also, using antibiotics may have caused this diarrhea. Take probiotics to re-establish the intestinal flora.
Use loperamid for diarrhea.
