What Causes Diarrhea With A Foul Smell And Abdominal Pain?

I am a diabetic, and I have had fatty liver syndrome for approximately 15 years. Approximately two months ago my sugars went through the roof, and I started loosing weight rapidly. There were two nodules found on my thyroid. Approximately, two weeks ago I accidently used the bathroom on myself because I thought it was gas, I got to a bathroom quickly and had a bout of very gassy, yellow liquid diarrhea with a foul smell. This has continued only now I have loose soft stools that are a bright sometimes dark orange color and am now having pain in my right side around the mid section of my torso.
