What Causes Diarrhea With A Low Temperature?

My 16 month old son has a body temp of 34.8. he has had diarreah for the past 2 days. Also he poked himself in the eye with a pair of scissors today, but nothing serious. I read it could be of dehydration or it could be an eye infection. Could you give me an answer on what it could be... Thnx

It may be simple gastroenteritis. A dose of cefuroxime will help him get rid of the abdominal infection. Keep well hydrated
