HI WENT FOR AN MRI FOR MY BREAST BECAUSE ITS 18MONTHS I WAS DIAGNOISED STAGE 1 GRADE 2 BREAST CANCER I HAD 20 RADIATION ANYHOW WENT FOR PRIVATE FOR MRI THE DOC TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS OK ALSO DONE ULTRASOND TODAY I GET A CALL SAYING THAT THE RADIOLIGY HE SEES A SHADOW ON THE OTHER BREAST BUT MY SURGEON HE READ IT AND HE SAYS HE DOESNT SEE NOTHING WHAT DOEA SITM EAN

Thanks for writing in.

MRI is a detailed investigation. Since you were having a lump diagnosed as cancer stage 1 grade 2 which was treated with radiation, follow up is necessary. There are many suspicious shadows seen on MRI and ultrasound even on the other breast which need to be recorded and subsequently followed up. I request you to please upload the report so that I can give a better opinion. Most likely it might also be a benign condition on the opposite breast.
