What Causes Difficulty In Body Movement And Vertigo In The Elderly?

I’m a 64 yr old woman. The past few days I’ve had trouble getting out out of bed with being light headed. I used to have problems with vertigo, but I think this is different. It’s not as severe as that was but I feel like I’m a little drugged, which I don’t take any drugs. I think I’ll go to urgent care, sorry to have bothered you.

Hello,

Yes, going to urgent care would be a great idea. It could be anemia or some other condition. You need an exam and some testing to find the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kathy Robinson
