What Causes Difficulty In Chewing Food After A Head Injury?

Hi, so I hit my head 2 days ago close to my right temple. I have a bump and issues opening my mouth. On the day I hit it I had trouble chewing, but now i dont. Somehow it feels like my eyesight is worst (i wear glasses) and a bit fuzzy even when I look at things I was able to see before

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will assume that the chewing problem has resolved since you state that you no longer have trouble chewing. If your eyesight is feeling fuzzy then, the trauma of the head should be investigated by getting an MRI of the brain to look for any subtle damage in the occipital cortex or even within the nervesheath of the optic nerve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
