hello doctor, for past two day i had very hard bowl movement, getting severe pain. i did not have such occurence in my past days. further for the past 5 days i had undergone treatment for dengue fever and taking medicine for it. please suggest some medecine for it. ahamed, chennai

With this presentation, it is possible that your might have had some dehydration (as a result of the fever), leading to hard stool.
In my opinion, I would suggest you drink much water, eat much fruits and green leafy vegetables. If the condition does not resolve, you may try laxatives.
