What Causes Difficulty In Speaking?

I m 80 and I am having problems speaking. I sound like I am drunk and I don t drink. I have had a MRI but everything look normal. I get choked on my own saliva. I have had a swallowing test and all it showed was that my flap doesn t close all the way
