What Causes Difficulty In Walking After A Foot Surgery?

Have had foot surgery a couple of months ago for mortons neuroma, bunion, correction of big toe position, removal of spurs from big toe area and am having trouble walking properly. it has been suggested I purchase a metatarsal pad; have used this before surgery but now I would like to know what type to buy or should I see a podiatrist?
