What Causes Difficulty In Walking After Defecation?

My 79 year old wife, has for many years .... extremely large bowl movements .... on two occasions, recently, after ... unusual ... bowl movements, she has had trouble walking, almost a zombie like walk, stiff legs and wobbly ... after eating the symptoms go away and she is OK. The only times her zombie walk has occurred was after such a BM.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your wife's problem can be intolerance to some foods. What she had before such massive bowel movement. It can be gluten or lactose intolerance also. A proper history of your diet and diet at the days you have unusual bowel movements help to identify this. But if there is no such change then it can be inflammatory bowel condition or some infection. If it occurs again like that better to have a consultation with gastroenterologist to rule out the condition.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
