What Causes Discharge From Ear?

Hello,
My 1 year old has a white discharge coming from his left ear. He has no fever, no pain and the discharge does not smell. He was ill last week with a cold and fever but has been fine since Saturday.
Could the discharge be his sinuses draining?

Hi,
It seems that he might be having middle ear infection and now giving discharge from the ear.
Clean the ear gently and put antibiotic ear drops 2-3 times a day for 3=5days.
If require go for one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Ok and take care.
