Blood in stool has to be taken seriously unless proved otherwise as the probable causes can be as follows:
Piles or Hemorrhoids.
Fissure in ano.
Intestinal infection particularly procto-colitis. This in tun can give headache and
body ache as as you have mentioned.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor to get a clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of stool, blood and urine.
Get a primary course of an antibiotic if there is an evidence of an infection.
Get ano-proctoscopy and per-rectal digital examination.
Further management as per the clinical findings and supportive reports of investigations.
Increase fibers in diet and take plenty of oral fluids to avoid
dehydration.
Take supportive and symptomatic treatment with
Paracetamol, electrolyte solution, probiotics and activated charcoal tablets.
