What Causes Discomfort In Chest And Burning In Stomach?
I have a discomfort in my chest lightly, gases, kind of burn in my stomach, Why? when I breath deep, Is Ok but still some pinch in my upper chest or in mu right side of my chest... I am not overweight, exercises (3) days a week, good health....this is bother me.....
All your symptoms of discomfort in chest, burning in stomach gases are indicative of a condition called as GERD secondary to hyper-acidity, and may be stress, anxiety and hiatal hernia. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Take a PPI like Omeprazole. Domperidone as motility regulator. Antacids to be taken when you are on empty stomach. Soft, bland diet should be taken in small 4 parts. Early dinner, avoiding alcohol and tobacco in any form. If this doe not relieve your symptoms then you need an upper GI Endoscopy, Barium studies and further management as per the findings.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
