What Causes Discomfort In One Side Of The Neck?

Hello, my mum is getting the feeling in the left side of her neck. she says it feels like a clamp coming off the hose. It lasts for a few seconds, not sore just annoying. Been to her GP, He has done blood tests, a scan and xrays, all come up negative. Any ideas. Thanks Kaye

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Possible calcium or potassium deficiency.
2. Get calcium levels and potassium levels in serum estimated. Hypocalcemia can cause muscular twichings while hypokalemia is known to cause muscular spasms.
3. Based on lab reports, further opinion is possible. Diet correction with appropriate supplements is necessary.
