What Causes Discomfort In The Vaginal Area?

I am experiencing major discomfort in my vaginal area my lips are red & swollen it hurts when I pass urine I find it so sore to wipe myself when I have been to the toilet I am drinking plenty of water the dr put me on a course of antibiotics for a UTI, I have been taking them for 3 days & it doesn t appear to be any better I am also using caneston thrush cream on affected area. Can you please advise me what to do as I am going out of my mind I cant even sit upright comfortably

Consult a gynecologist and send a vaginal swab.

As of now, use Clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genital region. It could be due to minor inflammation in the genital region.
